Our focus in the restaurant is serving amazingly beautiful locally-grown food, with friendly service. Our style is modern California cuisine, kept as close to farm-to-table as possible. We use many locally-sourced, organic ingredients, with an ever-changing, seasonal menu.

Our restaurant is beautiful and cozy, with a fire place and ocean views, located right in the middle of Mendocino village. When the weather permits, we have our outside deck open, which has ocean views of Big River Bay, and our beautiful culinary flower garden. Trillium Cafe & Inn is close to all the local shopping and Main Street and we are just a short walk to the beach and the Mendocino Headlands State Park.

Kale Caesar Salad: This salad is the most refreshing version of Caesar ever invented. The kale gives the salad incredible texture, all the while never even being able to tell if it really is in fact kale. We use our house-made croutons and local cheese, along with our very own candied meyer lemons which really bring together all the flavors.

Local Fish: Our local fish entree is ever-changing in order to serve our guests the freshest fish possible that is locally caught.

Chocolate Kahlua Torte: This is the yummiest flour less chocolate torte you will ever find. It has a crispy chocolate crust, with a creamy chocolate Kahlua filling on top. Finished with raspberry sauce.  An amazing way to finish your meal.

Cheese Cake: This desert is a great example of making an amazing dessert,  gluten free. The flavors are simple yet so rich and delicate. The cheese cake is usually topped with a seasonal fruit sauce, such as raspberry, huckleberry and in the winter we give it a Kahlua sauce. The crust is made from Almond flour.
